We returned to the USA and we had a brand new elementary school in the neighborhood where I enrolled her for third grade. She loved it, but where I taught her handwriting, she went to block and the teachers didn't give a damn. I did teach her to read. I homeschooled for strictly personal reasons other than religious. I am glad we have a choice about that in this country because public schools have gone the way of the gutter.
